Private label vs. white label vs. co-packing

These terms get used interchangeably, but they describe three different relationships. Private label means a fully custom formulation built around your brand. White label means rebranding an existing, proven formulation under your label — faster and cheaper to launch. Co-packing (OEM) means you already own a finished recipe and simply need a certified facility to manufacture it. Each has its own page with the full breakdown.

Typical MOQs & lead times

PrimeCoco minimum order quantities are among the most flexible in the Indian coconut water manufacturing market: 100 kg for powder, 1 ton for concentrate. White label powder can ship within 2 working days at sample scale; a full private label build from formulation sign-off typically takes 5–7 weeks. Not sure which format suits your product? Our concentrate vs. powder comparison covers the trade-offs.

What you need before you start

Before any production run, you'll typically need your company registration and import licensing in order, a clear idea of your target market and clean-label positioning, and any market-specific compliance requirements — FSVP documentation for USA, ESMA conformity for UAE, etc. Our B2B sourcing guide covers the compliance requirements for all four of our main export markets.

Packaging & label compliance

Your label design, nutrition facts panel, and any certification or claim artwork need to be submitted and reviewed before a production run — this protects you from a compliance issue after the product has already shipped. We review all label submissions against your target market's labelling standards.
